It reads an applicant's documents and shows what is missing, what to fix, and how to strengthen the case: the preparation agencies in Singapore charge SGD 2,000 for.

Tell us a little about yourself and we will suggest three ideas you could realistically build in two mornings, using the same AI you will be using in the room. Entirely optional: plenty of people arrive without an idea, and finding one together is how day 1 starts.
Real software, all the layers
For software to be real, it needs the four layers below. Here is the part that sounds impossible: you will build every one of them without writing a single line of code.

Most courses teach you about software and hope you build one day. The Build Method reverses it: you learn by building, because with AI that is finally the fastest way to learn it right.
Build first
No theory marathon before you are allowed to touch anything. Building starts on day 1, and the understanding arrives while you do.
Just enough base to steer
You learn the few fundamentals that matter: what the layers are, how to direct the AI, how to tell when it is wrong. Enough to stay in control, never theory for its own sake.

Speed is no longer the trade-off. Following clear steps, you build something working, valuable, and yours, without cutting the corners that matter.

01Welcome, and finding your idea
Work out what you actually want to exist and describe it clearly enough to start. This is the part people find hardest, so we spend real time on it. Arrive without an idea and we will find one with you.
02Get your tools installed, with AI helping you do it
Your first build task rather than admin, with your instructor circulating. It is over faster than you expect.
03Start your project
Stand the project up from nothing. The right foundation makes everything after it easier, and the wrong one quietly costs you the second morning.
04Build your first working version
Small steps, checked as you go. You learn how to ask precisely, how to tell when the code has gone wrong, and how to back out cleanly instead of piling fixes on top of each other.
05One-to-one check-in with an instructor
A check-in on your project specifically: what is working, what is stuck, and what day 2 should be for.

01Build the parts that matter
Now that it works, make it worth using. Deciding what to leave out is most of this session.
02Try to break it
Before you trust it, you attack it. What to test, what usually breaks first, and when it is good enough to rely on.
03Put it online
Deploy it and get a real link. A tool on your laptop is an exercise. A tool that is live is yours.
04Show what you built
Everyone shows the group what they built and how they got there.
No. Even if you have never opened Claude, OpenAI, or Cursor, we will get you up to speed over the two mornings, with an instructor next to you whenever you are stuck.
Is this what people call vibe coding?
People use that phrase for building software by directing AI instead of writing code line by line. In short, yes, that is what you will be doing. But we also care about the part that comes after the vibes: real logic, a real database, and a tool that still works when you open it on Monday.
Do I need an idea before I come?
No. Bring one if you have one. If not, we will find one with you, using the same AI you will build with. You can try it right now with the idea generator above.
Does it have to be for work?
No. Work, home, hobby, sport: anything you want to exist qualifies.
What do I need to bring?
A laptop you can install software on, and an active AI subscription (OpenAI, Cursor, Claude). Installing everything else happens in the room, with help.
Which tools do you teach?
We teach in Claude Code, which is what we use ourselves. Everything works just as well in Cursor or OpenAI Codex, so come with whichever you prefer. What you learn transfers.
Will it work for my idea?
Almost certainly, and if we think your idea is too big for two mornings we will tell you and help you cut it down to a version you can finish and build on later.
Does putting it online cost anything?
No. Your tool goes live at its own address, free, and you can send that link to anyone the same day. If you later want a personal domain name for it, that is a separate yearly cost, usually around SGD 20, and we will show you how.
What exactly do I leave with?
The working software you built, live on the internet at its own address. And the part that lasts: you will know how to build the next one without us.
Why mornings only?
Because building well is intense, you'll see. Four focused hours beat eight declining ones, and this way your afternoons stay free, and you come back the next morning fresh.
Where is it, and how do I get there?
Each cohort's venue is listed on the registration page. The October cohorts run at The Working Capitol on Keong Saik Road, a short walk from Outram Park and Chinatown MRT.
Is this claimable under SkillsFuture?
No, not yet. The Build Method is an independent workshop, not a WSQ-accredited course. The founding price of SGD 300 is close to what subsidised courses often cost after their subsidy, for two mornings that end with your own software deployed.
Can I cancel or transfer my seat?
Yes. Transfer your seat to anyone once, or move to another cohort once, free. Refunds up to 7 days before the workshop; inside 7 days, transfers only.
